The published T. kok-saghyz karyotype is 2n=16 (eight pairs). Both references retain source sequence names; TK1151 ChrUn and OH-1004 Chr09 do not establish a ninth chromosome pair. Use the eight comparison units below or formal gene-ID crosswalks.

Reference layouts and eight core comparison units

The source assemblies use different sequence counts and names. The major anchors are organized into eight units below, while the browser retains original coordinates for download and reproducibility.

TK1151Eight primary chromosomes (Chr01–Chr08), plus the Chr0/ChrUn reference sequence (27.9 Mb)Published work identifies Chr0 as a pseudomolecule outside the eight chromosomes, not a ninth pair.
OH-1004The species has eight chromosome pairs; this reference has nine named sequences (Chr01–Chr09)Chr09 retains its source coordinates for search and download; its biological assignment in OH-1004 remains unresolved.

Comparison units use predominant formal-gene-ID anchors for navigation. They do not merge source sequences or treat equal chromosome numbers as automatically homologous.
